Chonky Boys: The Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches that Scream Summer!

Featuring my thick and nuggy Chonky Boy Chocolate Chip Cookies, these ice cream sandwiches are the stuff that summer dreams are made of.  If you've ever had the Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich at Disneyland , you are going to LOVE these!

These big and bold chocolate chip cookies are based on a recipe from my culinary school studies at Auguste Escoffier, but with a few modifications to give them that Jennuine touch.  They make the perfectas book for a fat slice of real vanilla bean ice cream.  And those mini chips?  You just gotta have that extra cronch!

Thank goodness this recipe only makes 8 sandwiches, otherwise I would be eating them for breakfast lunch and dinner.  This way, my big family can help save me from my inner child diet-saboteur.

REVIEW AND RECIPE: Dannon Oikos Greek Yogurt & Raspberry Lemon Breakfast Cake

I wrote this post while participating in a blog tour conducted by Clever Girls on behalf of Dannon. I have been compensated for my time commitment to the program but my opinions are my own.

I had all but given up on yogurt until just around a year ago when I was introduced to Greek Yogurt. Creamy? Yes! Rich? Yes! Hard to find? It was. When the unbelievably delicious Greek yogurt first caught my fancy, I wa…

A Nest for all Seasons
"Sometimes waiting on THE DREAM is like waiting for asparagus... You put the roots in the ground and nothing happens. Nothing at all. Then one day, when you aren't looking, everything happens all at once and you are taken by surprise."

"Life is just a bowl of cherries and a bowl of cherries is made even sweeter with a simple poach in red wine, a beautiful burgundy-hued bowl of luscious fruit bathed in an elegant syrup, served plain or topped with a scoop of Bijouxs Amaretti Cream Crunch – sweet ch…

Giveaway -- 500 Pieces of Custom Stationery from UPrinting

You may have seen it in my profile:  "Bibliophile, Anglophile, Turophile...".  What's up with all the "philes"? Well, a "phile" is defined by Mirriam-Webster as "one having an affinity for" a particular thing. So, in my case, I'm a bit bonkers for books (Bibliophile), England and all things English (Anglophile), and Cheese (Turophile). Today, I'd like to add a new "phile" to my "phile" file:  Chartaphile -- A lover of paper!
But you needn't be a card-carrying Chartaphile to appreciate this giveaway from UPrinting. Do you have a blog, website or Etsy store? Wouldn't it be nice to have some personalized stationery with which to pen little missives of gratitude to your customers?  Imagine the delight of your friends and family to receive a hand-written note on your personalized family stationery in this age of tweets and emails.
