My family has completely fallen for Disney's Frozen.
It seems as though every household in the land has been similarly frostbitten.
Frozen + These = My Inspiration
I've enjoyed reading comments and getting emails thanking me for the LEGO Movie party invitation template that I shared in January. It's nice to know that many families have enjoyed using the invites for their own celebrations.
I figured that with the popularity of Frozen, there are bound to be a lot of Frozen-inspired parties in the works these days. So, I put together a trio of Frozen Movie Theater Style Invitations that can be downloaded for free, personalized and printed.
Disclaimer -- PLEASE READ -- These templates are not for sale and are not for profit. I'm sharing the templates free of charge, but as such, am not able to provide any custom work or tech support for how to use photo editing software. If you're new to photo editing and are ambivalent to try, there are many talented people selling movie ticket style invitations on Etsy. They will personalize them for you for $8-$10 -- a great deal!
If you're ready to proceed with customizing your own invitations, follow the step-by-step instructions below:
Step 1: Click on the invitation you want and download directly from my Photobucket.
Step 2: Use a photo editing program like Picasa (free online) PicMonkey (free online) or the one you're comfortable using to add text.
Here are the names of the fonts I used:
- Arial Bold (for the "VIP" and other block text)
- Digital-7 (for Day, Time and Month)
- Marcelle Script (for the birthday party line)
- OCRATTRegular (for the rest of the details)
Step 3: Print. You have two choices. These invitations are formatted to be automatically centered on a 4x6 photo. This makes them easy to upload to a photo service (I use Costco) and have 4x6 prints made. You will get one invitation per print and will have to trim away the left and right white margins. You can also print at home. If you use your photo editing software to crop off the left and right margins, you can print the images (maintaining the 6" height) 3 to a sheet of glossy photo paper.
------------------------------
Invitations...Done!
------------------------------
Update: I've added templates for printable envelopes. They are in PDF format. Click on the desired style to download from Google Drive. Print on heavy stock. Cut out. Fold along all the lines. Apply glue to the flaps, then fold.
The color looks distorted on the previews, but the actual documents are fine.

ReplyDeleteBOARD, secret board
DeleteInvites worked beautifully! Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the free ticket templates! I've used both the Frozen and Lego movie ticket birthday invitations for my kids dual party in April! They look awesome and the kids can't wait to pass them out. I was wondering if you have the free template for the Frozen envelope, like you have for the Lego movie? If so, can you please send it to me? Thank you so much :)
ReplyDeleteThank you SOOO much for the free printable!! So generous of you and I greatly appreciate it!!
ReplyDeleteThese look amazing. Thanks! They are a great look since my daughter is having her celebration at the aquarium so the ticket really adds an amazing touch.
ReplyDeleteLooking for this font: "OCCRRegular"
ReplyDeleteI don't seem to find any mention of it on Google. Would you mind offering a link to download or a little more info?
I'm so sorry Derrick, that was a typo. I thank you for catching it! The font is actually called "OCRATTRegular"
ReplyDeleteI'm having trouble finding the ocrattregular and the digital font. Are they only available on picasa??
ReplyDeleteHi Heather, thanks for asking. OCRATTRegular is a TrueType font that comes pre-loaded with Microsoft Office. You can download Digital-7 for free here: http://www.dafont.com/digital-7.font
ReplyDeleteTry this site for OCRATTRegular if it's not pre-loaded on your computer: http://www.fonts101.com/fonts/view/Uncategorized/34693/OCRATTRegular
I downloaded Picasa to use to make the invitations and Digital-7 wasnt on there so I went to download that but don't know how to get it into Picasa. Im sure its easier than I think I'm just not that good with this kind of stuff lol!
DeleteI downloaded Picasa to add the text to create the invitations but Digital-7 wasn't on there so I followed your suggested link to download that but now I'm stuck not knowing how to get the font into Picasa. How did you do it to make your example invitations? It's probably easier than I think I'm just not very good at this stuff lol!!
DeleteTHANK YOU! I was able to personalize the ticket invite and it was super easy! You've made my day! I love when people share their creativity with others without making them pay! =)
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for this post! Especially the invitations!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the frozen printables thanks so much for sharing! One tiny hiccup though (maybe I'm just a ditz) but when I tried to save the image on my kindle it came out distorted and blurred. Do I just need to switch over to my laptop? Thanks again : )

ReplyDeleteNot sure what Photobucket is, but when I try to get to the Frozen invitations it doesn't allow me. It says there is an error. The Lego invite worked perfectly. Do I need a Photobucket? Thanks so much for your help.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I love the envelopes and they worked perfectly.
Not sure what Photobucket is, but it tells me that there is an error when I try to go to the Frozen invitation. The Lego one worked perfectly. Not sure if I need a Photobucket. Thanks for your help.
ReplyDeletePhotobucket is just the site where I post my graphics and pictures online. You shouldn't have to sign up to copy an image. Which invitation is giving you the error message, and what is it saying?
DeleteHi, I downloaded your movie ticket invitations and filled them out, then sent them to be printed at my local Wal-Mart. They called and told me I needed some type of copyright permission waiver or they wont sell to me. How can I get around that? I really want these invitations.
ReplyDeleteHi, I downloaded your movie ticket invitation this morning and filled it out, then sent it to be printed at my local Wal-Mart. They called asking if I had some type of copyright permission or they will not sell to me. Any ideas on how I can get that?
ReplyDeleteHi Shea, I'm really sorry you had that experience. Every once in a while, you'll come across someone who's a real stickler, and it sounds like you ran into one of those. I have heard that some Walmarts are pretty strict. I usually use Costco. Is there one in your area? Target and Walgreens are some other options. Please let me know how this works out for you.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I downloaded your FROZEN Olaf invitation - used my photo editor software and was successful! I think I edited the size to fit three across and one horizontal at the bottom. Unfortunately, my printer gave out and needs a ink cartridge, but the ones I was able to print in full color are great. I'm thinking about shooting the file over to CVS and see if I can get it printed. Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteI love these!! I just made some for my daughters Frozen birthday party! So cute!! Could you maybe add one with toy story characters? Or do you know where I can get a blank template(like the ones you provided) with toy story characters?
ReplyDeleteI can't tell you thank you enough!!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!! My daughter is just in love with frozen. This is perfect for her lil party!!!!! Xoxo

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the Frozen tickets. I'm taking my granddaughter to Disney on Ice Frozen and this will make much more of an impact to a six year old than the plain ole e-ticket would have. Great job!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the wonderful Frozen tickets. I'm taking my granddaughter to the Disney on Ice Frozen show for her birthday and this "ticket" will make much more of an impact for a 6 year old opening gifts than a plain paper e-ticket would have! Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteThose invites were perfect!!! Thanks so much for sharing them. I edited them on Powerpoint by adding text boxes and then printed them on cardstock.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the Frozen ticket! Just a suggestion for editing--I copied and pasted the image to a power point slide from your Photo bucket link and I was able to edit easily and get three on a page. I will print these at home on a color printer and cut them at work on a paper cutter. So easy and FREE!
ReplyDeleteI love this idea! It is so cute. I was wondering do you have one for Paw Patrol too?
